The Dragon of the Night- QUICK- Hit it with a Powerful Spell! (2011- 2022 redesign)

A re-design of an art piece I did in 2011.

At the time I felt I pushed alot of personal boundries in regards to learning photoshop, like experiementing with brushes, texture and lighting. I thought this would be the perfect challenge once again to see how I'd redesign this illustration with my current photoshop knowledge and abilities.

It's not completely perfect, and I've neglected this illustration for about a year since I started this challenge, but maybe in another decade I'll try this again and see how I'd approach it a third time!
